For a revolutionary policy
The monopolized mass media today in two major television networks and a few radio-controlled television companies themselves, are an instrument of ideological and political control by these monsters of communication ever since as beatnik Allen Ginsberg said: "He who controls the media, controls the power." This is especially in the era of the Telethon and The Academy, for not only broadcast television and cable are a medium where opinólogos dump their wise words against any people's struggle from his perspective openly right, subservient to the capitalist system and their status, but that television plays a role of social distraction, through comedy shows of poor quality combined with high doses of vulgarity is another case of soap operas, football or series always based on the designs of the dominant religion in the country, in the case of telenovelas juveniles, are the cliches of the ruling class: private education, school uniforms type RBD, cars of the year, blow in " best clubs in the city "etc. However, there is a great detail: the vast majority of Mexican students have no money to pay for those uniforms, those cars estate, in the best go to places like New's Divine where we fall prey to police abuses.
mention one example, the public and private education in Mexico comprising just under 50% of children and adolescents in the primary school age and high school because the schools fit into the space is not available, and the worst cases are victims of economic backwardness, lack of resources to study dropout while some encourage both teachers and antipedagogical scabs, as the same educational authorities located in the Plaza de Santo Domingo (Public Education Secretariat), UNAM, UAM, IPN and the federal government. To cite another example, This year will be rejected 90 000 120 thousand students from the UNAM who aspire to a college education, 40 000 to 60 000 in both the UAM and in the IPN, which we only this year, about 170 thousand students certified high school and grade point average out of the classroom, they will have to fight for a place at university next year. In Mexico there are at least 6 million people who can not read or write, 12 million have not completed primary and 17 million who have not completed high school. In the Americas there are 35 million illiterates and 88 million people over 15 who have not completed their primary level studies.
policy education in Mexico and throughout the American continent is overly inclusive and capitalist, as the existing budget for rural and inner-city schools do not reach where they should, remain in the hands of the authorities and the mafias in power, for instance in more than 24 years, no one school was built around the Federal District, until the arrival of López Obrador with the construction of 4 campuses and 14 schools under budgetary responsibility of the Federal District Government. But in the case of IPN and UNAM, the demand for education is one of the major issues that have not been addressed, claiming lack of funds, but do not duck, with great salaries managers earn enough, even made an incredible investment in red tape, as in the case of IPN, where DG is even bigger than Zacatenco unit, while the area could be used in more classrooms and buildings, is wasted budget drones who only deal to absorb the budget, to promote reforms to promote privatization and repression against students by police intelligence plans such as the implementation of security cameras in classrooms, hallways, etc. also porriles the known groups that they fund.
As a final example, and simply displays a button Government Current Expenditure (GCG), 2009, is only one trillion 728 thousand 489 million pesos, ¾ ie, about 75% of the budget should be spent on education, health, sports, etc.. If we make a comparison by dividing the current expenditure of government between the SEP budget in that year (3 thousand 366 million 634 thousand pesos), we have that is 513 times greater than this, but if we compare the budget GCG College Bachelors (5590 million pesos), we find that the GCG is 309 times higher, do not tell us there is no money for education!. But things do not stop there as 25% of federal budget expenditures must be distributed among Mocha officials, as well as increases in corporate costs such as police PFP, PGR, Mexican Army and Navy, that if we take into account budget cuts for public education and the entry into force of the ACE, RIEMSER, SNB.
Alfredo Jalife, the Movement for the Defence of Popular Economy, says big monopolies must be nationalized misinformation, this slogan is viable to the extent that there is a national movement able to take technical control of such channels, but not only that, as long as we conform to the nationalization of large simple communications monopolies, we can conclude that Carlos Slim Helu, Carlos Salinas de Gortari, or any other team squirt the 10 men who have left this country in the most shameful poverty, cultural backwardness, educational and economic. Nationalization may be a step forward, because of constitutional law, rivers, lakes and oil are the property of all Mexicans, but we are not in fact belong to the Mexicans, as with Fox's privatization, for example, the River Panuco is concession to Coca - Cola without receiving anything in return, though: they sell us our own water!. In the case of oil, profits from sale of crude oil are monopolized by a few bureaucrats and officials federal government as the late Secretary of Government Juan Camilo Mouriño, father and family. In the case of large monopolies and other national assets should be re-expropriated and placed under control and to serve the working class.
At CLECOBS
control committees are a form of organization with roots in the student movement of 1968, the Student Struggle Committees, cells were organized at school, for example was the Struggle Committee Faculty of Economics, Architecture, etc., at UNAM, as it now exists today the Control Committee of the Higher School of Economics (CLS) Control Committee of the Preparatory 4, 5 (CLP4, CLP5) remain same as in 1968, the Struggle Committee ESIME Zacatenco (CLESIME), which accounted for much of the historical material of the student movement of 1966 to 2000, unfortunately This material has disappeared and is no longer available to the wider community of the IPN as it should be.
Traditionally, action committees, which are still organized, hold weekly meetings, distributing documents of political education among its members, discuss action plans, coordination with other sectors in struggle, whether worker or student, coordination with other committees fighting activities cultural demonstrations and entire campaigns in defense of free public education.
Some action committees share the work of commissions, to coordinate local and general, because as we know by living experience, one person can not perform all the functions of a committee to fight for itself, that besides being unhealthy, eventually develop the Committee of Struggle in partial paralysis, falling into warlordism, the role, and personalism. By contrast, a Control Committee which divides responsibilities, ends up being an efficient Control Committee, combative and permanent. The concrete proposal Committees Bar Fight Bachelors (CLECOBS), is that just as in the Coordinator of Education of Bachelors urge various committees, such committees should operate in each Control Committee at each campus, with features such as press, the draft finance committee, culture and events etc., each with a varying number of members, as we know: The more varied the better!.
Our tasks in the period in which classes will resume really hard, we have the challenge of strengthening one or more presses of the students of the College of Bachelors, where we invite workers and teachers to write about their problems however it reduced space, For true long articles or dissertations, is the choice of the blog and downloadable files. The good news in all this is that existing workers who are writing for the first issue of the newspaper "our voice" made by high school classmates of 8 and further, they will be formally discussing the creation of the blog "our voice" , regarding whether the commission should press the push or not is a great idea to be discussed at the next meeting of the Coordinating Committee, we should also consult with fellow graduates 8 to know what you think about it.
Forward Comrades!
